Our Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week experience and an opportunity for students and emerging professionals to explore a career in public service. Summer interns work on exciting projects in one of NYCEDC’s many dynamic departments. They also participate in training programs, networking events, and other professional development opportunities over the course of the program.

Interns in Action
Our summer interns on an asset tour exploring Moore Street Market—one of NYC’s six public markets—located in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Interns dive into our collaboration workshop with the Urban Land Institute, tackling a fictional development project. Working together, they designed a cohesive site plan and gained hands-on urban planning experience.
