Following the City Planning Commission's unanimous vote in favor of the City's proposal to create the Tech Training Center in Union Square, NYCEDC issued the following statement:
“The Tech Training Center in Union Square will create a new model for accessing New York City’s tech sector – connecting New Yorkers to modern skills training and job opportunities with growing companies, all under one roof. We are thrilled to see the project continue to gain momentum throughout the public review process and appreciate the City Planning Commission’s feedback on ways to make it even stronger," said Ryan Birchmeier, Senior Associate, NYCEDC Public Affairs.
In conjunction with today’s CPC vote, NYCEDC also released a video about the project and its potential.
