New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking to retain one or more consultants to provide auditing services for agreements in NYCEDC’s real estate portfolio (including, but not limited to, leases, contracts, management agreements, and operating agreements) to assess compliance with the revenue sharing provisions and other provisions in such agreements. The consultants may also be asked to prepare lease abstracts and advise NYCEDC about structuring revenue sharing provisions in future agreements. The audited agreements will cover a variety of asset classes and uses including, without limitation, commercial, retail, hotel, and industrial properties.

NYCEDC plans to select one or more consultants based on the factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP; the proposed fee and cost schedule; the quality of the proposal; the respondent’s reputation and history; the experience of the key staff identified in the proposal; and any favorable history of doing business with NYCEDC and/or the City.

Respondents may submit questions to and/or request clarifications from NYCEDC no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, July 20, 2026. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP should be submitted through the Q&A web form available here. Answers to all questions will be posted by Monday, July 27, 2026. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP will not be accepted after 5pm on Monday, July 20, 2026; however, technical questions pertaining to downloading this RFP and/or submitting proposals to this RFP may be directed to [email protected] on or before Monday, August 3, 2026.

NYCEDC established the Contract Financing Loan Fund programs for Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (M/W/DBE) interested in working on public construction projects. Contract Financing Loan Fund facilitates financing for short-term mobilization needs such as insurance, labor, supplies and equipment.
